As the country stopped for two minutes at 11am on Wednesday to remember those who gave their lives for our freedom, four members of Gloucester Salvation Army Band played The Last Post at locations in and around Gloucester.
In the Eastgate Shopping Centre, at Tesco in Quedgeley, at St. James' Parish Church in Quedgeley and at the Indoor Equine Arena at Hartpury College, many hundreds stood still for a moment to reflect and remember.
